Tokyo Ghoul √A episode 04
What kind of a weird twist is this? This is just like any other anime at this point. First the Protagonist seems weak, after that he becomes really strong somehow and when things go on for too long he becomes weak again due to the introduction of a new character. I thought Tokyo Ghoul was different…So we got to pick into Koutarou’s past, huh? I am okay with that. To see how he grew up as a religious nut that would normally do anything his priest tells him to. Of course, that all changed when he saw that very priest devour his friends like they were mere snacks. No wonder that people like him are so fanatic about kill every single ghoul.
There is one character that I don’t like; Juuzou. That guy is annoying. His voice, the way he acts and even the way he fights. I think his weapon looks rather dull and the fact that he’s so insane means that he probably won’t be dying any time soon. Characters like that always tend to stick around. Some people find characters like him interesting, I guess…
Now then, Ken infiltrated that government facility with his new “friends” in order to find this almighty ghoul. I have gown accustomed to Ken’s new-found power and mind-set, so to see him get dominated like that by some middle-aged ghoul is kind of a tough pill to swallow. Ken was so strong and so damn awesome, but now he’s become just like the rest of the ghouls; average. There’s no doubt that during the next few episode we’ll see him train, gain experience and power. After that he’s probably going to fight that old ghoul again at some point. That’s how these things usually tend to go…
