Tokyo Ghoul √A episode 10

Okay, I guess it’s ghoul time again. I must say that this episode was rather predictable. That’s not something that I can really say often about Tokyo Ghoul. It was one of those episodes that a regular anime viewer such as myself could see coming from a mile away.
[Ohys-Raws] Tokyo Ghoul A - 10 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_10.06_[2015.03.12_23.53.11]So the battle between man and ghoul has started and you could tell that those ghouls really had it rough. More and more of those soldiers with specialized weapons kept showing up and more and more ghouls kept getting killed by them. Even two of Anteiku’s strongest ghoul warriors couldn’t handle all of that firepower. I mean, it is kind of unfair to fight four against one, but in that ape’s case it was fair. He lost in a one versus one matchup and he lost fair and square. No excuses there. But still, strength in number is a valid tactic when you are up against a small army of ghouls.
[Ohys-Raws] Tokyo Ghoul A - 10 (MX 1280x720 x264 AAC).mp4_snapshot_22.36_[2015.03.12_23.53.32]What annoyed me was that Ken showed up late again as usual. That guy always arrives when it’s too late. It was the same thing in season one. He showed up when the battle was practically over and when one (or more) of his loved ones had been taken from him. I doubt that they’re ever going to change that clichéd pattern.
But no, what caught my interest is Ken’s fight against Amon and his little army and the devastation that the real One-eyed Owl will unleash now that the old man has been killed. Aren’t you curious to see what the real one can do? I mean, he got angry as hell and entered this super-ghoul mode that simply piqued my interest instantly. I can hardly wait for the next episode…
