Parasyte episode 22

It’s really a shame that I have to keep this episode short. I wanted to write a lot more about it, but I am short on time and quite frankly; a big part of this episode was not nearly as good as I hoped it would be. I suppose I simply did not see this coming.
So Shinichi and Migi decided to stand against that monster. They didn’t want to involve civilians so they drove to a quiet area in the mountains where they tried to ambush him. I say tried because they failed completely at great cost. Migi was left behind and was somehow captured by that guy, seeing as we were told that he was not yet dead.
I found this episode to be a little strange because Shinichi wound up in some old lady’s care and he couldn’t really remember everything. I honestly do not see the point of that yet and feel that the author could’ve come up with something a bit better. Still, I have no doubt that Shinichi is going back there to try and get his parasitic friend back. We’ll just have to wait and see how.
